In July 2023, a survey of safety culture (SC) perception and status was conducted at CVŘ, based on the requirements of the Atomic Act and Regulation No. 408/2016 Coll. of the SÚJB.
The survey revealed that our company has a good level of safety culture; however, there are areas that require attention and measures to approach the ideal state.
We can note that "Curiosity" and "Environment for Submitting Suggestions" are strengths in SC. Areas where the SC level should be further improved include "Communication" and "Safety Leadership." Special attention should be given to "Continuous Learning," where results indicate more room for improvement.
In cultivating our safety culture, we will continue with further assessments using refining methods and implementing measures for improvement. It is crucial that we have sufficiently competent and responsible employees to achieve the goal of maintaining expected behavior and constantly improving the safety level of nuclear facilities and ionizing radiation sources. We will also require this approach from our key suppliers.
